Let’s begin with a moment of inspiration, as we reflect on the goodness of each day. We are truly blessed we are to be on this side of Heaven. This is the day that the Lord has made, we are to rejoice and be glad in it. I want everyone to look at the visual of the picture below. I received it via a text message from one of my dear friends, and she reminded me of how to cherish each day.
The month of May has truly been phenomenal. I have experienced such great things in the past 21 days, as I am looking forward to so much more. I had the opportunity to visit Central America, this past week. It was one of the most valuable experiences I have had in quite some time. It reminded me of what it is to truly take advantage of what life has to offer. I often post different words of encouragement on my Facebook timeline, and I was lead to the following link https://lindaellis.net/the-dash/the-dash-poem-by-linda-ellis/ in which one of my friends suggested. I hope you would go to the site and read it as well. As we all must encourage one another to be better and also to enjoy life.
Back to my trip to Central America, I had the opportunity to go snorkeling for the first time. It was an experience I will never forget. I truly had to trust God that I would not be overtaken by water. It is the little things that scare us to not experiencing what life has to offer. I cannot swim, and focusing on that one component almost cost me not to see some of God’s most wonderful creations. The fish were gorgeous. I recommend everyone to try snorkeling at least once in your life. I just wanted to sing, “Under the Sea”, from the Little Mermaid, after such an experience. I was just in awe of what one can discover right under their feet.
I can go on and on about my Central America trip from the snorkeling, the island cruise to Turtle Island, the horseback riding, and the trips to the museum, etc. However, the true purpose is not what I have done lately, but what have you done. It is my hope that from you reading this brief entry to my life, that you are inspired to dare to do things differently. You can allow yourself the joys of the world, and not be consumed by the fears. We cannot continue to murmur and complain, when God has already promised you everything. For God is not man, He cannot lie, and thus, whatever is holding you back, no that it is not God and more so, it’s not the devil. We have dominion and power over him, he cannot do anything that we do not allow him to do.
Time too truly to take back territory and live the life in which God has designed for you.
My question to you, what do you want to be remember for?
I say, after my journey is over, not only will God be pleased, but I shall be pleased as well. No regrets of saying if only I had time. As each day, one has opportunity. It’s what you choose to do with that opportunity, which determines your Faith.
