HAVE YOU EVER....?

Have you ever been tired of being tired?

Have you ever wanted to drop the Christian courtesy and tell someone how you really feel?

Have you ever wanted to throw in the towel and say forget it?

Have you ever wanted to stop praying because you see nothing is happening (in your mind)?

Have you ever wanted to slap that gossipy church lady and tell her what people really think about her?

Have you ever wanted to get revenge and tired of turning the other cheek?

Have you ever wanted to throw the check back at your boss and tell him to do a rewrite?

Have you ever got tired of looking at your check trying to figure it out who to pay and what not to pay?

Have you ever just wanted to fight, but didn’t know who or what?

Have you ever not wanted to walk where your call is taking you?  It’s too hard!!!  Can't pray, Can't think,Can't fight, Too tired, Too disappointed, Too hurt!!!!!

HAVE YOU EVER?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?  HAVE YOU EVER?!?!?!?!  HAVE YOU EVER?!?!?!?

I have been feeling like this the past few days, and I am reminded of a scripture,

Psalm 55:6

King James Version (KJV)

And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.

Some days things are horrible to me and I can’t shake this feeling.  But the Lord….  That’s the

key.  The Holy Spirit comes and comforts me. When I am feeling bad, overwhelmed, and life is throwing daggers at me, I am reminded in Psalms 91:

Psalm 91

King James Version (KJV)

91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Instead of asking, “Have you ever?”  Start believing that you can walk victorious.

Still pray for me…it’s still crazy, but God.
