Minister Teraleen R. Campbell
Minister Teraleen R. Campbell is a native of Hagerstown, Maryland where she was reared in the King’s Apostle Holiness Church. She has been a member of Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church since 1991; where the Pastors are Bishop Alfred Owens, Jr. and Co-Pastor Susie Owens. She is a graduate of Calvary Bible Institute with a Certificate in Biblical Studies, studying subjects such as Old and New Testament Survey, Bible Doctrines and Leadership. Her service to the ministry has included the Track & Field Outreach, Altar Workers and Associate Missionary Ministries. Minister Campbell served for 11 years as President of the Sanctuary Choir, which has a membership nearly 100 believers. Additionally, she serves in leadership as the Music Ministry Chaplain and Choir Administrator, overseeing administrative aspects for Calvary’s six choirs and praise team. She also served as Co-instructor for Bible Characters Class at Calvary Bible Institute. She also serves with the Ministerial Alliance and Women’s Ministries, which is responsible for coordinating the Women’s Conference and Retreat.
The March of Dimes and the American Red Cross have recognized her for her involvement and service to the community. Additionally, she was named Sorority Woman of the Year during the annual Sister-to-Sister Sorority Luncheon, hosted by Taylor Thomas of WHUR Radio. She also was recognized by her sorority, Zeta Phi Beta when she received the inaugural Zeta of the Year Award in April 2004.
She became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. in May of 1989 via the Eta Epsilon Chapter at the University of Maryland, where she conducted her undergraduate studies. She is a charter member of the Tau Delta Zeta Chapter in Laurel, Maryland; having served in several positions such as Treasurer, Member-at-Large, Z-HOPE Coordinator and Membership Intake Co-Coordinator. She has also served Zeta on the national level as the Atlantic Region representative to the March of Dimes WalkAmerica Team under the administration of Dr. Barbara West Carpenter. She is a member of the Maryland Legislative Agenda for Women , President of a local club for Toastmasters Intl. and Social Action Coordinator for the Atlantic Region of Zeta.
