MOVE!!!!
James 2:17-18
King James Version (KJV)
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
James 2:26
King James Version (KJV)
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
One of my favorite poems that I will like to share is about time:
I have only just a minute,
Only sixty seconds in it.
Didn't
But it's up to me
to use it.
I must
Give account if I abuse it.
Just a tiny little minute,
but eternity is in it.

With 6 days in the New Year, Resolutions most likely have been broken, time is yet passing us by again. But I will say and encourage you that there is always time to make a change. I notice within my own life there are about 3 things that stop me from pursuing a goal.
1. Fear
This demon right here has showed up more and more in my life within the last few months. I have to admit, a lot of things didn't go my way, and I, in my opinion have failed. I am striving and daily trying to get to the "so what" of my failures. I have to look at it, and you as well, as an accomplishment. I at least tried to attempt a thing and it didn't go my way. Yet, the lessons that came from the failure is priceless. Dust yourself off and try again. Give it everything you got. Make this your daily devotion:
Romans 8:28
King James Version (KJV)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
AND
2 Timothy 1:7
King James Version (KJV)
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2. Procastination
This demon right here gets me often. I always put off everything for tomorrow. I have my day set, boy!!! I know exactly what I am going to do and how it's going to be done....Only to get distracted, frustrated, or just plain don't want to!!! Any hands out there with this problem. Meditate on this scriputre:
Proverbs 6:6-10
King James Version (KJV)
6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
Now I don't know about you....but you have to admit the ant is not joke. It works all the time, preparing and getting ready for the future. Plus I don't want to be looked upon as a sluggard.
3. Opinions
This has stopped many people. They care what others think and/or try to please others. Trust me when I tell you that people on the ball is not thinking about you and those sluggards, if they are thinking and talking about you ask yourself the question, "Are they paying my bills?" "Are they putting food on my table?" You get my meaning.
Start today. Your future can be so awesome. Step out in in faith, seek God first, acknowledge him in all your ways, and watch God move!!!!!!
Last quote of the day:
"What is the richest place on earth?
This place of endless riches is not in the Middle East, where there’s rich black gold buried deep beneath the Earth’s surface—nor is this place in South Africa where there is a plethora of diamond mines. The wealthiest place in the world is a cemetery. Now one would ask, “For what justifiable reason is the wealthiest place in the world a cemetery?”
Simply put, in a cemetery, you fill find that there are books that were never written. There are songs that were never sung. There are ideas that were never acted upon—dreams that were long forgotten. If one were to die today, then what ideas and what aspirations would die with him or her? And the immediate contingencies that relied on the survival of such a reverie would eventually perish with the evanescing dream."
