I wonder if you went back when you read this, like I did when I heard it on the radio this morning. I mean, I went back so far that I got to singing and swaying in my seat… while at work! My co-worker and I talked a little about the memories this song brought back to us and he asked me if I remembered who my ‘squeeze’ was back then. Funny thing is I really couldn’t. I was just so caught up in the melody at the time, so no person came to mind at all. All day, this song has been ringing in my ear and as I began to think about some of the things that I’m currently dealing with, I couldn’t help but feel that it was meant for me to hear these lyrics today. No better love…. For me, today, the lyrics of this song remind me of the Greatest Love of all. I mean, I’ve had a few good loves in my life, and I’m sho nuff thankful for the love of my life that is my husband, but none have ever, and will never compare to the BEST Love, the love of God.
