Politically Incorrect

I am not going to write an entry today, instead I would like to engage you in a dialogue. I ponder different topics and I often seek the advice of the wise. As we are to all seek council and not continue to operate in insanity. Therefore, all my faithful followers, it’s time to really become engaged in topics and subject matters that are deemed politically incorrect.

1. Does race matter in America? What truly is holding back the African American culture from progressing? Can it all be the European Americans, or could it be the crab in the barrel mentality, in which allows other groups to capitalize?
2. Are not religion and spirituality the same thing? What is up with everyone being able to call themselves a Christian, and then judge those that are not of like mind? Can you provide a responsible without rambling off “facts” from the Bible; I mean can you not just K.I.S.S. it.
3. Why are people celebrating the victory of President Obama as though he is the second coming? I mean respect the office, but let’s get real, he was well off before the presidency and now he will be even more so. Why not hold the Congress – House of Representatives and Senators as accountable as one is seeking to hold the president. Is not America a democracy?
4. Why is a country that is deemed wealthy filled with so many homeless people? And why does America not deal with their problems instead of dealing with international affairs?
5. Why’s it ok for heterosexual couples to constantly marry and divorce, but yet protestors are on the white house steps protesting same sex marriage? Is God not pleased with those that divorce, so why are we measuring one sin as though it is greater than the other? Please do not say, under the Law God says, but then seek to apply to Gospel for another.
6. Is war necessary, I mean when you have civil unrest domestically isn’t it hypocritical to be in Syria, Afghanistan and other Middle Eastern countries? Why can Americans do unto others what they do not want done unto them?
7. Why are so many babies born out of wedlock, and yet the mothers get the high praise? Is there not something terribly wrong with a Christian nation having so many problems within the family?

I believe I gave you enough questions and sub-questions, now it’s time for you to speak out. The floor is open. There is no right or wrong answer, but there is a thing of ignorance. Time to be informed, engaged and accountable. So let’s talk, I am listening...
