It is interesting that you said I needed to get a life... Trust me I do. I wouldn't have wrote this blog if I haven't experienced things in life. What I have experienced in my life is parents who don't care or know how to care for their children. For a few years I watched children walk into the school not equipped or ready to face the challenges of learning. Now in my life, I have tried to help parents understand their role in their child's life without offending. With jails being built according to 3rd grader scores, school closing their doors, and teacher leaving this field due to stress, I take issue with your comment.
But I will tell you to get a life, by looking around. Just because you know your daughters teacher, you are going to live in a society of these same children, who are ill equipped taking over our society. YOU SHOULD CARE. Your daughter could date, marry, and have children with one of the "pookies" as you call it. What would your future generation look like??? Hmmm makes you think.
Plus I could have bypass this time in my life because I don't have children, why should I care? Because I have a life and I care about others.
Finally Henry, your daughter is in middle school. Doesn't she have more than 1 teacher? Just a thought. My name is Vicki Frances and I approve this message.
