The Resurrection Effect by Minister David Arrington

Today we rejoice and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am excited, yet humbled, to share a few words of inspiration with you, that will not only empower you to continue to grow in the Lord but will help you understand your own personal "resurrection" experience.

The word "resurrection" is synonymous with the biblical story of Jesus Christ having been crucified, dead, buried and risen from the grave. I love when our apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, "For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures."   Paul confirms that our Lord and Savior has demonstrated his immortal emanate power, to come out of death, and return to us among the living, thus a "resurrection".

In our daily lives, many of us are in need of a resurrection. We've encountered and endured so many situations that it feels as if life is crucifying us. Crucifixions were used as methods of executioner torture, meant to have the victim experience "a slow painful death."  Though we will never experience the physical torment of what Jesus endures, we often see times where we punish ourselves in our afflictions. Often, we condemn ourselves to death spiritually based on our past situations. We torture ourselves slowly and painfully, psychologically convincing ourselves that we should suffer. When you continue to persecute yourself, you become "spiritually dead". Furthermore, we bury ourselves because of the shame found in the disappointment in what we've done. We feel like God is disappointed in us and we never receive a renewed resurrected spirit.

TODAY, I encourage you to come out of your burial. Nothing LIVES in the grave yard. Only DEAD people deserve to be buried. Its time to answer the voice inside of you, the voice of Jesus reassuring you of deliverance. Accept the power of the Holy Spirit, become restored and renewed in him. Its time to experience "THE RESURRECTION EFFECT.  I encourage you, as I pray for you, that you will be "resurrected" and restored with a renewed spirit. Have a blessed Easter experience today.
