Under Pressure
Under Pressure
Being under pressure may not feel good, but during this time this shows us exactly what’s inside of us. Think of it like a bottle of ketchup. On the outside you know there’s condiment that you may want to get to, but the only way to access it is through pressure. This requires that you place your hands on the bottle and squeeze in order to get what’s inside of the bottle out. Think of our lives as this bottle. God’s promises to never leave us nor forsake us, and to have His hands on our lives. I’m here to remind you that there come moments of pressure in our own lives. During these times, God keeps his hand on our lives, but through these moments is when we find out exactly what’s inside of us. Do you, during these times, revert back to your old ways, or do you press in to God? Do you begin to think “when I wasn’t saved things were better back then” or do you thank God for being with you while under pressure? Do you forget that He’s done it before and He can do it again or do you give into the lies of the enemy? Do you pray and fast more while under pressure or do you sit around throwing a pity party about your situation? I’m here to tell you to grow under pressure. Allow yourself to rest under assurance that God is with you. Rest knowing that there’s no situation in our lives that God cannot handle. Rest knowing that God see’s victory in you. Rest knowing that God wants to see you through this and will be by your side every step of the way. Rest knowing that God knows your pain, He knows that pain produces promises that only He can give you. Out of pain comes power and the heavier the pressure the stronger you come out. I leave you just a few short words of encouragement for you to hold onto while under pressure.
